Samsung is getting ready to launch the newest member of the A-series family, the all new Samsung Galaxy A9 with improved specs and looks. The said model has already been approved by China’s Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center, thus ready to be sold in China.
Coming to the specifications, carrying forward the honor of being the slimmest of all the Samsung phones, the Samsung Galaxy A9 will sport a 6 inch 1080p super AMOLED screen. It will contain a metal frame, nothing to be surprised here. The processor would be an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 (or maybe 622) clocked at 1.8 GHz. It will also contain a fingerprint sensor on the home button, just like the A8 and will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system. It will have a 13 MP main camera, 8 MP front camera. The 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage will also come in quite handy. Samsung believes it has got over the heating issues from the previous versions of the A series phones.
Expected to be unveiled at the CES coming January of 2016, this smartphone has kept many phone freaks waiting who are sure going to be delighted at this news. Though there is no official word out on the pricing yet, it is expected to fetch a market price of, well, around Rs. 30,000 in the Indian market.
