HTC has come up with its latest offering, the flagship smartphone HTC 10 for the year 2016 and the point to note is that it has two variants of the same. The STC 10 and HTC 10 Lifestyle, as they are called, would vary slightly in the hardware department.
The HTC 10 will be launched with a 4 GB RAM and options to choose from a 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. It will have a 5.2-inch Super LCD 5 display of Quad HD resolution (2560×1440 pixels). The company claims it is far more responsive and colourful than the previous flagship, the HTC 9. On the camera front, it has got a 12 MP primary camera and a 5 MP snapper. The sound quality is great, as always! Connectivity options include 4G LTE and the operating system would be Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Sense 7 UI.
While the buyers in the USA will be treated to the superior version of the flagship, the HTC 10 at a price starting $699, the fans in India might feel a bit let down since it won’t be available in the Indian market. The HTC India website shows the upcoming arrival of HTC 10 Lifestyle that would be slightly inferior to the standard version. The main differences include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 in place of Snapdragon 820 and a RAM of 3 GB in place of the 4 GB in the standard variant.
