Just when we started pondering whether or not HTC will continue with its ‘One’ series of smartphones and where almost convinced it won’t, HTC has come up with the launch of the HTC One S9. Earlier, HTC had omitted ‘One’ from its last offering that was named HTC 10 and that had added much to the speculations of the company suspending the aforementioned series. The HTC One S9 looks like a hybrid between HTC One M9 and HTC 10 and has a metal unibody design.
HTC One S9 has recently been launched in Germany and the asking price is 499 Euros, that is roughly around Rs. 37,500. Sporting a 5-inch Full HD display with 1,920×1,080 pixels (pixel density of 443 ppi), it measures 144.6×69.7×10.09 mm in dimension and weighs just 158 grams. As for the internals. It has a MediaTek Helio X10 processor clocked at 2 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB of storage and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC Sense UI. The internal memory can be expanded up to 2 TB by using a microSD card. The camera quality stands impressive at 13 MP on the rear while the front cam is 4 UltraPixel snapper. Both the cameras have a f/2.0 aperture. Along with having all the latest means of connectivity, the BoomSound speakers are a great addition to the smartphone and the 2,840 mAh battery completes the overall package.
