Huawei has launched two new smartphones in its Y Series of phones that are christened Huawei Y3II and Huawei Y5II. Though there is no word on the pricing part yet, the phones are listed on the company website. A sad news for the Indian Huawei fans is that the company is unlikely to release it for the Indian market.
Huawei Y3Ii and Y5II are almost similar on the specifications part, varying slightly only on a few places. Android 5.1 Lollipop is the operating system for both the phones on top of EMUI 3.1. The Huawei Y3II sports a comparatively smaller 4.5-inch FWVGA screen while the Y5II that comes with a 5-inch HD display. Both the phones will come with a 1 GB RAM, 8 GB memory, and two different variants for 3G and 4G support along with different chipsets.
The Y3II 3G will be powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6582M SoC processor, clocked at 1GHz; the Y3II 4G model runs 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735M SoC processor. As for the Y5II, the 3G version will have a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 SoC processor while the 4G version packs 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P SoC processor.
In terms of camera, the Huawei Y3II packs a descent 5 MP primary camera and a 2 MP front camera. While the front camera in Y5II is the same, the primary camera is valued at 8 MP. The battery capacities in Y3II and Y5II are 2,100 and 2,200 mAh respectively.
