Intex has recently launched its next smartphone, the Intex Aqua 4.5. The phone is listed on the company website at a price tag of INR 4,199 but there is no word on its availability yet.
Intex Aqua 4.5 has a 4.5-inch TFT display with a 480 x 854 pixel resolution and a pixel density of 294ppi. The 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor coupled with 1GB of RAM is good enough for normal functioning and light multi-tasking. The 8 GB of internal storage is not too much, but you can expand it up to 32 GB with the help of the microSD slot. The smartphone has a 2 MP primary camera with a dual-LED flash and a 0.3 MP front cam for the selfie job. In terms of connectivity, the phone offers GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, microUSB and GPS. The battery capacity of the above-mentioned smartphone is 1500 mAh which is good enough to provide a talk time of up to 6 hours or stand-by of 300 hours. The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Intex had also come out with an almost similar low-budget smartphone in the recent past, it was called Cloud Jewel and was available for a price of Rs. 5,999. It included a 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage and had a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek processor.
