Lenovo is coming back with the third flash sale of their low budget android smartphone A6000 plus at 2pm IST on Tuesday. The Lenovo A6000 Plus, which was launched in April, is a slightly more powerful variant of the popular Lenovo A6000 Android phone. The Lenovo A6000 will be only available to buy from its exclusive online retail partner Flipkart. During the last two flash sales, Lenovo India had revealed the number of units available to grab which were 100,000 units for the first flash sale and 40,000 units for the second sale. However, Lenovo India might be following a different strategy and has not revealed the numbers this time.
The 100,000 units which were available for the first sale went out of stock in just 15 minutes, but when it came to the second flash sale, Lenovo didn't reveal the time they took to sell all the 40,000 Lenovo A6000 units. Lenovo A6000 Plus will be available to buy at 2pm IST for registered users at a price of Rs 7,499.
Lenovo A6000 Plus and Lenovo A6000 comes with dual-SIM support and apart from that Lenovo has used twice the RAM and in-built storage in slightly better variant Lenovo A6000 Plus. As compared to the 1GB RAM and 8GB in-build storage of Lenovo A6000, A6000 Plus has got 2GB RAM and 16GB in-build memory in it. When it comes to display, Lenovo A6000 Plus features a decent 5-inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor and for the better gaming and visual effects Lenovo has used Adreno 306 400MHz GPU in it. It has got clear and loud Dolby Digital plus speakers in it.
Lenovo A6000 Plus comes with Android 4.4.4 KitKat and runs Lenovo'vibe UI 2.0 skin on top. It has got an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and autofocus features. Also a 2-megapixel camera is used on its front panel (front/secondary camera). The smartphone also supports 4G bands like its predecessor A6000. It also offers decent battery life of up to 11 days of standby time on 2G/3G and up to 22 hours of talk-time on 2G and 13 hours on 3G with its removable 2300mAh battery.
