Meizu is trying to take good advantage of the rising smartphone market around the world by launching a number of new and affordable phones. The Meizu MX5e and the M3 Note had been launched earlier and Meizu M3 is now available for pre-order in China.
Meizu M3 will be available in gold, grey, white, blue and pink colors and will be priced at CNY 599 (Rs. 6,200 app.) for the 2 GB/16 Gb model while the 3 GB/32 Gb variant will be priced at CNY 799 (Rs. 8,200 app.). There is no information as to when the smartphone will be made available to the Indian customers.
The Meizu M3 sports a 5 inch HD display with a pixel density of 296 ppi. It comes in a dual SIM configuration with a hybrid SIM setup, so you can either place a second SIM card, or a microSD in the second SIM slot. It has a MediaTek MT6750 chipset that has a quad-core Cortex A53 cluster clocked at 1.5GHz and another quad-core Cortex A53 cluster clocked at 1GHz. The camera quality of the 13 MP primary camera with phase detection auto focus is impressive and the front cam at 5 MP is quite praiseworthy too. 4G LTE support, Wi-fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS with GLONASS and other latest connectivity features would be available in the Meizu M3. The phone runs on Android 5.1 OS along with Meizu’s Flyme 5 OS skin in top of it.
