The entirely cloud based Android smartphone Nextbit Robin is all set to release in the India market by the end of April, 2016. The phone, priced at $400 was made available for pre-order for India last year with shipping charges of $70. It is being launched directly to the Indian marketplace now. It is not like the other conventional Android phones going by its features and looks and would be available in two colors that will include Mint and Midnight Black. It is 7 mm thin and weighs just 150 grams. NFC and LTE support is available.
The best feature of this cloud based smartphone is that you can actually dump your unwanted data in the cloud and access it later whenever required, thus saving you the maximum space on its 32 GB internal memory. It is powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor and has a 3 GB of RAM for the ultimate experience of speed and performance. Its 5.2 inches’ screen offers full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) resolution. On the rear is the 13MP camera with phase detection autofocus and dual tone LED flash while the front camera is 5 MP snapper. The power key also functions as the fingerprint sensor and it is reportedly functioning as per expectations. The smartphone with its 100 GB of cloud space is being seen as the next big thing.
