The South Korean smartphone giant Samsung is just a few months away from releasing its upcoming Galaxy Note 6 in the market. The Note is the successor of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and will have two variants, as per rumors. Speculations also have it that the Note 6 will have a much better battery capacity than its predecessors and might be water-proof.
The two variants of the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will reportedly have the same specifications, screen size and resolution; the only difference being the nature of the display, one will have a curved screen while the other will have the regular, flat one. It will have many features similar to Note 5, Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, but only with upgraded versions. As per reports, Note 6 may be released in the August of 2016, just at the time Note 5 marks one year of its inception, but there is no official word on the release dates and speculation point to the fact of it getting released a bit earlier, may be by mid-July.
When it comes to battery, Samsung has put in some thought in its Note series this time. These models have large screen size and high resolution, thus the rate of drain of battery power is high. In this context, a 4000 mAh battery seems to be a much needed and welcome feature for the Samsung Galaxy Note 6. The earlier version, Note 5, had a 3,000 mAh battery.
