A Sneak Peek Into Huawei P11

With a lot of babbling going around, the tech fraternity is continuously featuring a myriad of smartphones with the novel and improved specifications. The upcoming participant in this race is Huawei’s P11 smartphone. As it is anticipated, this phone will be launched in February 2018. As expected, P11 will be presenting 5.8-inch curved glass display of Quad HD resolution, secured with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. In a concept video published in August, the Huawei P11 is shown to have a titanium body and an under-glass fingerprint scanner. It’ll also have extremely thin bezels. Now, this imaginary smartphone sports a QHD+ display, and has 18:9 aspect ratio, while it also supports Google’s Daydream platform. It is envisioned to be water- resistant. It is also supposed that the phone will be available in three colors- Black, Gold and Rose Gold…. looks like it is meant to give its user the power to flaunt! With the AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, its screen resolution will be 2560 x 1440 pixels (2K) with a pixel density range of 500 to 600 ppi. It also has multi-touch support of up to 10 fingers.

What’s most interesting is that Huawei P11 will be presenting yet- to- be announced Kirin 970 processor which is expected to deliver 25 times better CPU performance and 50 times greater energy efficiency. With this feature, the user will be able to enjoy the bliss of numerous graphics-intensive apps and games at an incredible speed without any element of glitch. Seems impressive, right? The Kirin 970 is an octa-core chip (4×2.4GHz Cortex-A73 and 4×1.8GHz Cortex-A53 cores) with a 12-core GPU all built on a 10nm process like the Snapdragon 835 co-made with Samsung.The device is expected to run Android Nougat 7.1.1 out of the box, customized by Huawei’s Emotion UI. It will come packed with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 512GB via micro SD expansion. Not only this, it’ll be Huawei’s first mobile AI computing platform featuring a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) and will be open to developers. The firm says it will bring ‘AI experiences to life and changing the way we interact with our devices’. Needless to mention, the company is making every effort so as not to leave any aspect untouched and that it is indeed all set to make a boom in the market.

As per the latest hints, Huawei P11 will have a dual rear camera setup developed in collaboration with Leica. Primary cameras are 16+16-megapixels with OIS, laser detection autofocus and LED flash, secondary camera is 8-megapixels which can record full HD videos at 30 fps. The camera is guaranteed to capture crystal clear, high-quality images and life-like videos under all lighting conditions.

It is a dual SIM phone with the support for 4G and VoLTE. Other connectivity features include 802.11 b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, which will allow blazing fast wireless internet speed, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, and NFC. It is also rumored to support Face unlock, voice unlocks and an on-screen fingerprint sensor. There is a non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery powering the phone with support for USB Type-C 1.0 reversible connector for charging and data transfer. It is a Dual SIM (Nano SIM) phone. However, the slot 2 is a hybrid one i.e. one could either insert a SIM or a microSD card.

This is another high-end smartphone from the house of Huawei which will offer its users a flawless performance and gimmicky features.As per the latest leaks, this upcoming flagship phone of Chinese telecommunications giants Huawei will cost around INR 38,000 in India.
